"People's lives change. To keep all your old friends is like keeping all your old clothes -- pretty soon your closet is so jammed and everything so crushed you can't find anything to wear. Help these friends when they need you; bless the years and happy times when you meant a lot to each other, but try not to have the guilts if new people mean more to you now."
-Helen Gurley Brown-
i can't help but agree with this quote.
it kind of justifies what i feel at times.
i'm not sure if there are others who feel the same way.

just trying to widen my choices...

then met yvonne, vathany and deepthi later at bugis.
i missed talking to you guys!!
and it's very very nice to be able to laugh with you guys.
but gosh, please control your emotions in school kay??

i know, the worst has yet to come. cause i seem to be enjoying myself right now without any stress.

thank you 08s04 for rocking my day today(:
haven't laughed so hard in many days.
met at dhoby ghaut mrt at 1030.
next to arcade where we mostly walked around played some games.
fish and co was the best!
from abt 12 to abt 1.45. jokes and lingo games!
damn funny la...
then went to mind cafe to play games.
elaine's expressions are super funny seh!
and some of the games needs stamina and is quite tiring.
all the screaming and laughing aloud.
luckily we weren't the only ones behaving like crazy people.
yay!:D
i didn't know how much i missed my teachers and friends from cedar till yesterday(:
you'll never be forgotten!

our history teacher certainly did a good job of scaring us.
he told us that for a levels, you'll be expected to write a 5-6 page MINIMUM essay in 30-45 mins.
and he say taking history in njc means you aim to get to cambridge, harvard or oxford or NUS law. and that we should get a scholarship to these universities.
and he talked about being a director by the age of 30.
GOSH.
we'll have at least 300 pages of readings per month. that's not including homework.
now i'm definitely thinking whether i want to take the subject or not.
today was okay!
made friends with the security guard(: he's actually nice behind his stern face...
angklung was not too fun but not too boring either.
yay. results tmr. i can't waitttt!!!

history homework is a SCARE.
i'll probably make the teacher think badly of me as my answers were total crap.
oh gosh. but at least i did put in effort kay..
yesterday's business course was okay.
not so fun.
but did laughed a lot due to silly ideas and d's policy of must-die-pretty!
ahaha.
and went to eat at adam food centre for the first time in my life.
the food i ate was quite nice la..
but poor ling ling was sweating like mad.
(:
-i can't wait for thursday/friday! reunion(:-

BUSYBUSYBUSY!
haha. homework! lectures and tutorials.
so far, it has been pretty manageable and quite fun.
laughed like mad during maths class.
gosh. the teacher is like so bully-able.
GP and chem lectures are HORRIBLE.
i always tend to switch off even after slapping myself several times.
history is pretty interesting, including the teachers.
and i think angklung'll be fun!
-it's weird when you think back-
barely a few days ago, i didn't even know they existed.
(:

yayyayyayyayyay!
first lecture wasn't like what i expected.
so boring!!
i wonder how i am ever going to survive if i had to attend anymore lectures like THAT.
haiz.
went back to cedar again!
it feels good but awkward at the same time.
and i still prefer the old school.
at least, i could become my noisy self again.

orientation gets better and better each day, fortunately!
yesterday was war games and DANCE PARTYYYYY, which was probably the highlight of the whole orientation.
i think it's a very warm feeling to renew ties with friends you haven't been in contact with for a very long time.
to know that they still remember you and to still be able to have proper conversation with them.
oh my, dance party was the only activity i really enjoyed myself a lot.
was so high and just dance, dance and dance!
at first i was scared of the noise but because my OG was so enthusiastic, i decided to join in.
OG 4 rocks!!!
lessons starts on monday.
i have a 50 minute lecture on monday-chem.
i'll probably rot for the rest of the day...
its nj vs vj now.
apparently nj was unable to impress my mum.
-i miss cedar and the feeling is overwhelming when it gets to you.-

gosh, i just realised it's been quite some time since i last blogged.
orientation is still going on for me.
oh my, hope my elder sister doesn't crash my campfire tmr!
she'll destroy it for sure.
after tmr, i shall pen down my thoughts on orientation which so far, has been only so-so.
that's according to my standards though.
heh
:D
P.S. i'm not joining malay dance anymore la. too taxing for my stiff body(:

friday was bearable.
learning of college anthem which was in malay.
don't think i can ever memorise it in two years!
there was mass dance also. that's probably the most fun part i look forward to.
well, today went for njc malay dance session to just get a feel of how it is.
haven't really thought of joining.
gosh. i felt my leg was already torn apart after warm-up.
and that was just the BEGINNING!
i think my muscles are inflexible to begin with.
i mean, after 16 years, i'll probably have to break some of my own bones to become a graceful dancer.
nevertheless, it was quite enjoyable.
tried to do the recitals.
nearly bumped into the other seniors cause i was just turning around and hopping here and there trying to follow them.
macam budak sesat!
there were a lot of non-malay students.
came home and slept for nearly three hours la.
oh my.
well, it's definitely one of those things i'll remember for life(:
trying out malay dance for first time ever! woohoo...

new year! first few days in njc(:
the people there are really really nice!
but since the fun hasn't started, the talks are really boring except for the pe/cca talks.
and i haven't feel completely comfortable there.
like a bit out of place.
oh and the traffic jams are unbearable.
but i passed chemistry selection test!
yay.
hope all other cedarians are enjoying their days in their respective jcs!
peace y'all.
:D
