things i learnt while in jc:
-time waits for no one. either you catch it or you'll lose it.
-don't be afraid to act childish. most people still are in a way(:
-be nice to everyone you meet. you never know when you'll meet them again.
-a lil bit of humour is important to keep yourself alive!
-first impressions are almost always wrong.
-there is no end to studying.
-no one is smart without being hardworking.
basically, i learn new lessons everyday. and it's quite interesting actually to see how everything goes.
oh and my brother wishes to declare to the world that he's handsome.

last saturday was the execution of project 'fun in the sun'!!
yep, last minute was made the facilitator of group 4 which i named FANTABULOUS!
(fantastic + fabulous)
though we got lost many times, thanks to my bad sense of direction, i did have fun la.
the kids are quite enthusiastic although they refuse to listen to you at times.
and i told lame jokes to them! which was a bit unsuccessful cause only one person laughed.
sheesh.
and having to manouevre a double bike is tough work man!
bbq food was nice, ate a lot as well!
but anyways, i hope the participants somehow did enjoy themselves cause they participated actively in the games :D
there was this girl who kept touching my cheeks in the bus, saying that it was soft and smooth.
quite eerie actually.
omg, and the "meeting" at air-con room was simply hilarious.
made me laugh till i was breathing heavily!
HAHA.
o8s04, please don't be sad anymore. we can still see each other right? i'll never forget our experience together :D

okay so today was road run.
tiring and crazy!
i think my stamina has decreased badly la. since the last time i took napfa test which was last year, april.
but it wasn't really that boring i should say.
cheered quite a lot for classmates.
eugenia and maria!! haha, slackers.
but i'm so proud that i tried my best to run all the way :D
and drama was amusing.
now i have to learn how to bitch about people and behave diva-ish (expressions involved).
because my role demands it.
mean girls, the movie i should watch to improve my skills.
dinner was at magic wok.
I'M FULL.
and i love everyone. thanks for making my dinner a pleasant one.
cause of all our busy schedules, it's good that we get to go out once in a while and just TALK.
:D
and now i'm super tired.
yes, tmr's fun in the sun, shall be successful, insya allah. hope it doesn't rain.

today was an extremely tiring day. but fun!
i love helping out in orang kahwins(malay weddings)!
yes, tiring but it's nice to joke around with cousins.
and talk to aunties and uncles.
and tease family members.
or just walk around giving guests bunga telur (sth like door gifts) and giving them a big smile.
it's definitely never boring.
and the food. gosh, too much man!
can eat till you vomit. and it's superbly delicious la.
oreo cheesecake, chocolate brownie, cake pudding, peach fruit cake, blueberry tart, mocha cake and these are only the side dishes. haha!
then went home and did work.
next was meeting for 'fun in the sun' project.
ended like at 10 pm.
okay, i need sleep.

dinner today was interesting.
didn't know that walking down toa payoh central at night could actually be quite calming.
as usual, there was laughter and craziness.
of course, i enjoyed it.

children can be super hyperactive!
and it can get pretty tiring.
like yesterday, i was playing with my cousin's cousin who was in primary one.
we played from 9 pm to 12 midnight mostly running up and down the staircase .
by 12 MIDNIGHT, i was already like a zombie with my eyes half-closed and had already used up 99% of my energy.
but the seven-year old child looked up to me with her innocent eyes and asked "can we play catching now?"
oh here's an excerpt from my first post back in 2004.
i find it shocking but amusing at the same time.
"hmm....lets see....wat shall i tok about.... oh yeah yesterday was mi burfday..... and baohui didn even noe tt....haizz....so disappointing manx....but nvm...i oso forget her burfday liaoz...haha.....i got marks and spencer biscuits from filz....it's veh nice and mi younger sis kept on asking for more....but i refused to give her......i noe...im bad sister....
so far....mi fasting has been ok.....only the first day of traininglor......was soo thirsty......it was lyk i haven drank for days manx.......most of mi squadmates was drinking water so the temptation was really high manx....nearly gave up......then went home and spent a long time in the bathroom.....after that....surprisingly...i didn felt thirsty anymore......so everything went quite normal after that....
so tmr .....i will be having leadership camp......i dun realli wanna go but hav no choice lar.....at least betta than going training....hehe.....during training i beacame casualty twicelor.....haizzz.....
aniwae.....tt's all lar....for mi first entry.....byeezzz"

pphhheeeewwwww!!!!!
it's really a relief to know that we did manage to achieve GOLD!!
all those tears shed.
all those sweat we wiped from our faces countless times.
all those sacrifices we made.
all those frustrations and anger we felt.
all those times we thought things were unfair and working against us.
all the mental breakdowns.
all the weekends lost.
all the hard work that we put in.
well, now, it all seemed extremely worthwhile.
thank you seniors and teachers.
SIRIUS, congrats to all of you too!
PERSEUS, thank you for working equally hard(:
and NIKE, thank you for being a fantastic, fabulous, awesome, great(okay, obviously i'm being bias) squad!
and last but not least, ARIES.
WE DID IT!
you guys are simply the best.
no matter how short term my memory is, i'll definitely never forget you guys.

yesterday was angklung day!
okay, it was pretty slack actually.
me and jiamin had trouble knowing when to play.
and we were lost probably 90% of the time.
it's actually mentally tiring.
when you have to catch up with all the notes and play when it's your turn.
so, it's definitely not all about SHAKING A BAMBOO.
