haha, dumb but funny!

waiting for pictures. the past few days were lovely.
walking along orchard rd with elaine.
acting as nerd for 'be yourself day' with elaine. i think we redefined nerd man! haha.
meeting with cedar ppl! oh man, highlight la.
and today, another awards ceremony. the food was great! but no sushis :(
got to meet other cedar ppl!
i can't wait for buka puasa with aries melayu :D

haha, okay that really made me laugh!

today's madrasah session was just pure madness and merepekness.
and of course, it was brought about by the guys in the class.
probably the noisiest exam paper we've ever had also.
man, all the failed attempts at cheating.
and retarded drawings behind the question paper.
and the tries to get answers from the teacher.
sneaking the question paper into the toilet.
and using alpha, bravo and delta for mcq qns which the teacher thought didn't mean anything.
wah, simply hilarious!
these really are the moments i'll miss when we graduate in a few months time.
*sobs*

on a lighter note, i think my weekend has been rather productive.
although i am supposed to be doing chem now instead of blogging.
my stomach hurt just now laughing at all the jokes made by my younger sister, elder sister and brother.
hoho, trying to complete history essay in the living room isn't exactly a good idea.

and i completed econs va! yeah!
it's kind of fun writing essays. as in not under time constraints though.
maybe i should consider becoming a journalist.
hmm.

maybe i should start thinking on the career that i would want to pursue in the future.
cause yesterday, at the prize ceremony, when the minister asked what we want to do in the future, everyone could answer.
lawyers, engineers, banking and finance.
and i just became someone with an odd combination of subjects who haven't decide on her goals for the future.
man.
it was a little teeny weeny bit intimidating la.
oh wells.

oh oh, and the PM was there yesterday!
wanted to talk to him but there was like a queue of people.
so decided to go eat instead, since the food looked really nice and i was feeling hungry.

and yesterday was also history in the making!
the first time i ate sushi!!
haha, kind of bad experience though.
at first, without the sauce, it felt really bitter and just not to my liking.
so i decided to try another time.
thinking that the sauce was just ketchup or sth, i put a whole lot of it onto my sushi.
it became super salty and sour!!
and that was it.
probably no more sushis for me!

hahahaha, but the rest of the food was damn nice.
esp the chocolate cake.

oh ya, chem SPA that day was horrible.
maybe i was a bit complacent.
didn't manage to finish.
but, life goes on.
i've learnt that when it comes to chemistry, i shouldn't dwell too much on it.
it's just not my forte.

i was feeling pretty bad yesterday.
because going to school was kinda useless.
even though there was int'l hist and chem lecture, i was half sleeping in those lessons so yeah.
but somehow, surprisingly, i felt kinda nice after writing GP essay for the test.
something's really wrong. haha
and PE was nice! GC is like some mosquito that we couldn't catch with the rugby ball. damn pro ah compared to me who got tagged.

sunday was just draining, but i manage to start revision for promos!
i did try to start on econs va but just gave up halfway because couldn't really fathom what the question was asking for.
seriously, since va was suppose to help us improve our scores, shouldn't they make it easier?

tutoring session in the afternoon.
the students were being restless so i kinda had a hard time trying to control them.
it's getting frustrating having to teach them the same thing over and over again.
but i hope that they do learn sth after every session.
there's always a satisfaction feeling after that.
i'll feel as though i did sth good.
and these people, they are so interested in learning that it motivates me to keep coming down to teach them.

i found out that the school's really conducive for studying today
my sister says hello to all u cyber ppl. keep it up.
yes, she's so lame i know.
anyway, back to conducive environment.
the canteen was quiet today and the wind was blowing nicely.
and of course, the companion of safa and hazi.
all in all, it was productive (: i did chem! yesss! on my way to getting an A. okay, HAHA.

elaine and gc have been saying that i look stressed lately.
do i?
maybe la.

i listed down all the topics that i'll have to study for promos for all my subjecs.
topic count: 64!
OMG.
i'll probably only have time to read through each topic once.
hmm, let's see, if i'm lucky enough, i'll scrape through.
but wait, who am i kidding.

anyway, i felt good about yesterday.
besides the fact that chem consultation was cancelled after me and elaine waited quite long for it.
and besides the fact that my nose nearky got flattened after collisions during pe lesson.
mr menon was being his usual super funny self! haha

AND managed to stay awake in class. except for the last ten minutes of econs tutorial.
had a good laugh also!
i must say, i think i'm blessed.
to have lovable people around me (:

even though i couldn't go back to cedar to celebrate ma'am chew's birthday :(
reading syikin's blog gave me a sense of reassurance.
that everyone's fine. and that we weren't going to forget each other in a lOOOOOOOOng time.

yay! i'm going to school today!
okay, i'm usually pretty happy in the mornings.
except if there are really bad traffic jams.
or i didn't get to finish my homework the day before.
or i didn't get enough sleep.
BUT TODAY,
hmm, i managed to get enough rest.
and i completed my homework.
though there's still more waiting for me.

normally, it's really the things in school which determine whether i'll have a good or bad day.
but knowing myself, sometimes i'll just shrug off the bad stuff away and look forward to a new day (:

oh and i better start doing my filing.
my unfiled worksheets are staring at me straight in the face.

hoho, yesterday's angklung session was really nice.
it's one of those trainings with no pressure, just going there to enjoy.
i'm really glad training have been reduced to every wednesdays only.
for now, it's kinda like a stress-relieving thing.
something to enjoy after a hectic day.

friday performances was a bang!
totally awesome man!
i mean the adrenaline rush you get when you're just about to perform is simply great.
gives you a sense of confidence.
and personally, i loved the songs that we played and i had a strong feeling that our audience were going to love them as well.
fortunately and thankfully, i was right (:

i felt that our performance for njc's national day celebrations went by really fast and quick.
but the feedback i got was that it was nice to hear our songs and that i looked really cool playing my instrument. haha! ego i know.

the next few hours before our next performance was spent on practicing.
technically speaking, i was really tired beyond exhausted.
only had two hours of sleep the previous night.
also continued practicing with shi hong for our MC parts.

oh yes, before that, i did sneak out to talk with safa AND GANG!
ahaha, it's been awhile before i talked to them.
pretty sad that i couldn't go out with them but yeah, nice to chill out man!

next, headed off to esplanade where we just chilled out and prepared ourselves for the performance. went to eat at "sour puss". the chicken chop is nice!! though my friend thinks that the fish and chips was NICER! :P

i was a nervewreck right after the sound check ended.
played a lot of wrong notes and i was extremely fearful that i would continue to play the same way during the actual performance.
do note that they added a condenser mike near my instrument so practically every sound or mistake for that matter of fact would be heard clearly by the audience.
and i was nervous about emceeing also!

but alhamdulillah, both performances were awesome and spectacular!!
although i did make blunders while playing my instrument (i think the songs still sounded nice!) cause i was practically trying to remember the next thing that i should say later.
a lot of impromptu moments also when were forgot our lines but managed to cover quickly and i think the audience didn't notice cause they continued to laugh at our 'new' lines.
audience were very active and hyped up, which is seriously, what an MC would be most thankful for!
cause it certainly meant that they enjoyed our performance.
all my heartfelt gratitude for mr dzul for all the trainings and of course angklungnites, both past and present, for the wonderful experience!

another great time today spent with syaz, shazreen, syikin and sarah.
caught up with them on what is going on with everybody's life currently.
and syikin being herself, welcomed everyone with the ultimate question as soon as they landed on their seats at macs.
"so, are you attached?"
haha, "no, but i'm fine thank you."
and i was disturbed again for being the slowest one. some things do not change and i'm glad about that. some things change for the better and that's good too.
it's great to know that each and everyone of us are coping well with jc albeit the rocky moments and trying to have fun at the same time.

man, went home for dinner thinking that there won't be much food but i was wrong!
mum went 'shopping' at pasar malam and bought A LOT of food.

let's see, i had cheese hotdog and a bite out of black pepper hotdog plus ramly burger and fried cempedak as appetisers.
main course was rice plus fish and chicken ketchup plus spinach cooked at home.
and for desert, i had caramel fudge with almond nut ice cream and shark's fin soup.
yummmm!!!!!

i'm so glad i'll be getting three days off this weekend.
it's been pretty stressful lately and i'll need the time to catch with hmwk and all.
national day rehearsals was draining.
the best part was just getting to practice playing my kuolintang.
and for yesterday's rehearsal, accidentally brought my mum's pants cause i was in a rush in the morning.
super short and pretty big!
hahahaha. lesson learnt. better not bring the wrong one tmr.
and also, i was super tired when i reach home.
washed my hair with conditioner first instead of shampoo!!
gosh, but it was alr nearing midnight so couldn't be bothered.
heh.

i'm pretty excited for tmr!!

oh man, i think if i were to spend another day doing integration, i will vomit blood and feel super constipated.

it's been my BUSIEST BUSIEST BUSIESTEST week ever.
never have i felt so short of time before!
my homework is piling up like nobody's business.
and i have yet to start on revision!!
but i still prioritise sleep over my work.
not to say i don't sleep in class.
i still do for certain tutorials and lectures.

there's so many work being brought forward!
angklung practices and all.
plus project work tmr which will take up the whole day.
i wonder if i can even survive till the end of the year.
yeah, now i know why ppl say jc life was never gonna be easy.

oh the worst has yet to come:
PROMOS!!!!

but amidst all these, i still enjoy school thanks to friends who never fail to make me laugh like some mad woman.
and my dad, brother and other family members who's always there to listen to my ranting about how teachers are picking on me etc.
though my elder sister is giving me cold war.
she refuse to help me with my work!!!!

ahh!

okay, next week.
pretty exciting.
PERFORMANCES!!!

but after all that, it's back to what we are meant to do.
