haha, the whole house was super noisy and kecoh today!
yup, preparations for the much awaited hari raya!
i did help out, even though my mum told me to stay away and study for my chem's SPA tmr.
all the stupid jokes and screaming at one another.
as usual la actually.
made me laugh like crazy!!
abang hafiz, wish you were here! how's the kuih we made??

yesterday, made a trip to national library for project work.
surprisingly, i was the last one to arrive.
haha.
managed to find some info but we were digressing A LOT so decided to just split up the work and complete them at home.
apparently, we just couldn't bring ourselves to talk about PW!
come to think of it, the things we did talk about was a bit crappy.
gymnastics, american football, swimming, diving, handphone models and most importantly,
friday's PHYSICS PAPER.
which i didn't even take.

can't wait for wednesday!:D

when i was in bugis today, i heard the sounds of racing cars zooming past on the tracks.
i was in a bit of disbelief.
i mean, i've always watched the f1 race on tv.
and now, it's so close to me, within a few walking steps.
but then, there's no more of my all-time favourite, michael schumacher :)

dinner, or buka puasa, was spent with aries melayus.
mann, it was good!
updating each other on what's happening in their lives.
and of course, there were surprises!
it felt really good (:

oh and i finished watching hana kimi, the jap version.
it's super nice!
funny and not all about romance.
if it's worth my time, then it's worth yours too!
hahahaha

:D

the glorious day has arrived.
the day where i'll punch my fist high in the air,
and jump around like a stupid monkey
all while screaming
"MY PROMOS ARE OVERRR!"

ahaha, but then again, there's still a long way to go.

but at least i get a break.
while hoping for the best results i can get.

in the meantime, i shall bid farewell to exams and say hello to project work!
:D

i watched hana yori dango final last friday.
with my sisters (had been planning since the sept holidays).
haha, took it as a break.
hmm, the movie was quite stagnant and just okay in a way.
but the ending's really nice!

:D

i feel happy now.
even though i had spent close to 6 hours studying and cramming my brain with info during the day.
but hmm, i had around 4 hours of video and tv watching!(:

and dinner was lovely.
i think dinner is lovely everyday.
well, partly because it's the time i get to eat after a day of fasting.
and also there's always a feast! like seriously, there's like minimum of 5 dishes a day!
but i think it's mainly because i get to eat with my family.
i don't eat with them everyday so when i do, i feel really contented.
:D

and come to think of it, there's a whole lot of things i should be thankful for.
things which i normally take for granted.
having eyes to see.
being able to talk and laugh.
being able to hear people talk and laugh.
getting to eat more than enough food my stomach can take in.
drinking delicious drinks everyday.
having people whom i love and love me back.
having a home that i can seek warmth in.
and the list is never ending.

alhamdulillah.

well, at least, there's something to look forward to everyday!

ooh, it's been a pretty hectic week.
with teachers forever calling my name because they think i don't understand when i do perfectly.
haha. well, maybe it's my face.
perhaps i'm not called a blur queen for nothing.

and my students were pretty attentive today!
yay. and yes, they like anuar zain more than taufik batisah.
hah kak sulaiha! i won you.
oh but i got a question.
michael really _______ the way his maths teacher taught him last time.
should the blank be filled in by liked or likes?
oh man, i'm screwed for not being able to answer a primary four qn!

alright, busy week ahead.
abg hafiz, i know you're reading this, so hello!

it's amazing how ice-cream can change your mood completely.
especially when you had a craving for it.

and thanks wei wen for that call!
even though it's been 8 months since we last talked, it wasn't awkward talking to you at all.
yeah, it felt like it was only a few days ago :)

thank you to all family and friends who have made studying enjoyable and relieving me from all types of stresses which might have lead to depression.

:D

oh and today's break fast was a feast man! mum and bibik certainly cooked up a storm!
so sorry that my stomach couldn't fill everything in.

sucky man.
yesterday.
had no mood for everything i was doing.
including teaching.
my students were complaining that maths was super boring and that they wanted to do english instead.
i was just going through qn after qn with them.

today was a lil better.
partly because i managed to stay awake during lessons!yay, achievement.
except for GP that is.
and also because of people making jokes EVEN THOUGH it was unintended.
haha.

all those things planned to be done after promos make me can't wait for promos to end man.
:D

monday was pratically CHEM day.
try saturating your brain with chem info for close to 4 hours.
organic chemistry at that.
whoa, i felt like dying!!
luckily me, elaine, gc, ting yun and ziqian managed to keep ourselves entertained by making fun of almost everything though mr yip later lamented that we were "so rude!".
ahahaha.

though, happy teacher's day was long over, i went to my teacher's house today with two of my other pri 6 classmates.
at first, i thought it would be super awkward!
like, i haven't even met these classmates for 4 years and some more, they're guys.
but it turned out to be pretty enjoyable.

partly because my teacher's baby was soo cute!!
and he kept playing with my fingers! hahahaha.
and my teacher's dad was telling us how things have changed so much since the 1960s.
about how from telegram to typewriter to telex and finally to fax!
and the computer, to one with a screen to one with a mouse.
and national service last time, how tough it was.
and how babies were fed with condensed milk.
etc etc
being a history student, i have a particular liking to these kind of stories.
it's way easier to absorb than chem anyway.

but after staying for close to 4 hrs, decided to head home (:

oh, happy holidays!

some pictures:

my elder sister and me just laughed like crazy when we saw the cartoon!
okay haha.

We have, as human beings, a storytelling problem. We're a bit too quick to come up with explanations for things we don't really have an explanation for.
