i've been idling around lately.
and i don't really like the fact that i have nothing to do.
well, except for household chores and reading newspaper.
and PW but not so much now that wr's been handed in.
i'm considering watching more korean dramas but it'll be pretty addictive.

maybe i should just start on holiday hmwk.
but i don't think i'll have the mood to do so.

haha, too much time on my hands i guess.

as evidence has shown, PW has drained my teammates' brains.
well, maybe except for daniel.
haha, okay they're gonna kill me for this.

today gave me a nice feeling.
one of warmth and satisfaction.
there was a visit to OCS (Officer Cadet School).
honestly, i thought it was pretty interesting. but also boring at times.
it did bring back a lot of memories about my NP days though.
like walking in the jungle again made me think of the outward bound days and how i actually miss the jungle. sounds weird but yeah.
and the soldiers marching around the school reminded me of how we had to march around the NPCC HQ when we went there for trainings etc.
the shiny boots which the officers were wearing made me think of how we all had to shine our boots the day before and how no one could win miang joo and margaret's one. HAHA.
the sound of shooting bullets piercing the air of course made me ponder of shooting days and trainings at geylang police centre.
man, those were the bittersweet days (:

and after that, had to go to pasir ris for meeting for youth camp 2008.
funny la! as normal.
went to reccee the place where the nightwalk would be held.

the good thing was that i got to go to aunt's house to pray and we had a really good talk.
haven't had such a long talk with her before.
a lot of stuff like her children and my dad's history and my mum.
at the end of it, i felt proud and fortunate for having parents that care a lot about me.
i felt especially proud of my dad who had gone through a lot of stuff but never complained.
thanks to him, i am who i am today.

i'm grateful that the past few days were uber fun!
hmm, friday and saturday were mainly spent on preparations for open day and its execution as well.
really great and entertaining, get to perform and hang out with ml people (: playing congkak as though i was a kid again. and trying very hard to make ketupats but all i ended up with were failed attempts. except for one, which safa helped me with. then cannot make anymore :(
and i enjoyed playing the kuolintang very much! but carrying it makes me give up sometimes. it's super heavy! and huge so there's a lot of trouble taking it ard the school.
don't know if it was a good thing or not but i went to help out at hari raya dinner at whampoa cc. got to see talented people perform and stuff. and serve the buffet dinner and wash plates used buy the VIP. hmm. some of it did bore me to death but some are pretty interesting i guess.
jalan raya with aries melayus! haha, fun to the max la! i wonder if i'm getting dumb. filzah, upload the pics kay! i wanna kop. hmm, i suppose it was interesting knowing what's gg on in other people's lives. no matter how you try to stay away from the topic, it's unavoidable eh.
oh of course, what would life be now right without PW.
haha, but then again, i would be pretty bored without it. somehow i guess. sorry guys for sleeping during the meeting today. ngantuk ah, tak boleh angkat!

yup, and this just confirms the fact that my brain is better at humanities subjects rather than science subjects.
i did feel regret though.
for ever taking chemistry which i can't seem to score in.
thought i should have taken another humanities subject.

but luckily, dad was there to comfort me :D and i do have faith in what he says:

pretty interesting, the making of our video was super funny!
was laughing super a lot but had to control to prevent frustrating my grpmates.haha.
and learnt a lot of stuff also, about magic and physics and views on life and death.
sad thing is, we'll all be chionging like crazy tonight!

10th of october, a date i'll never forget.
dinner at the istana!
it's one of the coolest things ever. and i kind of needed a break during the week.
a bus was at the main gate to bring us to where the hari raya gathering took place.
we actually passed by a golf course (like super huge!) and a few small like houses before reaching there.
the food was awesome!
everything was there, you name it.
satay, ice kachang made on the spot, pasta, rice, lontong, dessert and so much more.
the company was great as well.
even though i never met my table mates, we talked the whole night away.
i learnt a lot from these successful ppl.
there was this especially cool young entrepreneur who started her own business at the age of 17 and made her first 500k by the time she was 18. cool right?!
also, i got to talk to dr fatimah lateef (she's an MP) who really gave me a lot of insight about life.
i went inside the istana, not all rooms though and the furnishings were super pretty.
haha.
okay i shall stop ranting abt it. but really really cool!

the next day was spent mostly with pw grp. worked all the way to 8 pm!
i was so tired.
but it was fun la, the retarded jokes and everything.
now, i'm facing a serious problem cause i have no idea what to do for InR!

well, apparently, tutorials and lectures have started.

mann, it felt good to be playing my kuolintang again!

come to think of it, i'm very thankful for my pw group.
although we are in a precarious state for our wr, it's been a fun experience :D
working as a group is also somehow less stressful knowing that you got others to depend on if something goes wrong.

okay it was pretty hilarious.
especially, the OP workshop.
totally impromptu ppt slides and script.
all prepared while other groups were presenting.
i'm even surprised we got through the presentation.
oh the blunders we made just made me laugh man.
compared to the other groups who did like really nice ppt slides and prepared their scripts alr.

well, i suppose it's one of the memorable experience i'll have for project work.

hari raya was like super triple fun!
i don't know but somehow it's becoming more and more meaningful each year.
i learnt that i should treasure my youth and make the most of it.
this year, hari raya was very amusing and retarded.
i love my family (:

on thursday, my relatives came from sarawak, kl and london.
my nieces and nephews are very very very cute!!!
as in just imagine any super cute toddler you've seen and yes, they look like that!
haha.
and, kids being kids, the actions they do and words they say just entertained me.

dreaded the thought of going to school on friday.
but turned out to be pretty fun.
even though didn't really play any games but just watching geraldine chai playing touch rug like some pro and all kept me from becoming bored.
and of course, watching movie with classmates was hilarious.
the movie, house bunny, and the stuff that happened before that.
losing movie tickets, going to the wrong level.
just so very retarded!

yesterday, i think my stomach got super bloated.
ate A LOT of food at almost all the houses we went to.
mi goreng, nasi briyani, bihun goreng, lontong, ayam goreng, udang sambal etc

oh oh, and i finished watching another jap drama, yasuko to kenji.
thanks diyanah for the recommendation!
it's really funny and nice.
except for the ending. wasn't really that satisfying.
yup.

and i'm excited for angklung prac.
though i think there'll be a lot of blunders since we haven't practiced for one and a half months.

i reached singapore at 2 am this morning from johor (visiting my grandparents).
cause there was a jam at the singapore immigration.
apparently the computer system was down.
gosh, the car was stationary for 1 hour!
and the honking all around prevented me from sleeping even though i was in a comfortable position to do so.
but it was quite funny la, cause we were making jokes and all.
haha.
