maths is mentally exhausting(is there such a word?). makes me feel super unproductive because in one and a half hours, i only managed to solve two qns. grrr.
okay, my ccas are offcially over. had senior's farewell on wednesday and handover for MLDDS today :) feel sad ah but at the same time a bit relieved.
alhamdulillah, i manage to survive this week but i think i've been having moodswings. like one time i'm laughing like crazy, another time i prefer to just keep quiet, then feeling a bit angry and agitated. then like got feel sad also. then happy and what not la. aiyah.
NJC ANGKLUNG with only 3 hours of sleep last night, it's a wonder that i'm still surviving today. haha
and yesterday, i had the longest car ride of my life. my elder sister just got her license and needless to say, we got lost. it was pretty funny la espcially the experience at the petrol station, don't even know how to open the oil tank of the car. alamak sey, was supposed to reach home at 10+ but reached home at midnight. haha
& had my last performance at suntec city just now. the feeling of not ever going to play the kulintang anymore was like in sec 4 when i realised that i would never do drills or campcraft ever again. pretty saddening eh. and oh gosh, major screw up in the performance just now. suddenly everyone stopped playing, like for 10s i think which felt like 10 minutes, before someone started the song again. i think the audience was also stunned but alhamdulillah, the rest of our performance went as per normal :)
it's definitely been a rocky ride with njc angklung, but it's one of the reasons why i would never ever regret my choice of going to NJC. when the seniors left us last year, i did feel a bit lost but we manage to stick through everything together. SYF bronze was sucky, haha. then again, i would never have imagined myself performing a music piece in front of huge crowds so i'm really grateful to have done that.
i finally understood why seniors continue to come back even after they've graduated. i think i would too. thank you to all the seniors who've supported us, our wonderful and hilarious conductor mr dzul and of course, my wonderful batchmates (including juniors) who have been super nice and helpful. thanks many many :D

okay, i should seriously lower my expectations for A's. getting 5As like my sister, who am i kidding man? i'm like only 3 MONTHS++ away from A's and i'm grappling to just pass some of my subjects k. studying during the june hols till i went mad apparently didn't help at all.
this is it.
i shall study harder than i ever did my whole entire life. i shall befriend my notes and books such that i love being with them. i shall stuff my brain with equations until it reaches maximum capacity. studying shall be my only form of entertainment. (okay that's exaggerated but you get the picture)
all this will begin..... on saturday, after my last angklung performance. oh ya, anyone's invited to come. it's at suntec city 1 pm.
on a side note, i think draco malfoy looks cool in that black suit :)

njc angklung performing for half an hour at suntec this saturday at 1 pm! tmr watching harry potter even though there were many negative reviews about it. can't be helped la since i read the book. so of course must go watch.
i still wonder how we performed the i'm yours song by jason mraz even though we just learnt it today. haha. and after such a long hibernation period, there were a lot of screw ups i think. but who cares? i had fun :)
life full of mugging is just plain argghhh. thank goodness i have my daily supply of stress-relief moments.
having angklung performance this saturday, in front of PM Lee. i'm pretty excited actually although it means that i have to push back my exam studying schedule by a day. haha! okay geek alert sey.

okay today i learn how to siang ikan! that actually means cleaning the fish, like taking out the gills etc. i only tried doing for the small fishes, haven't tried the big ones yet. okay, actually i'm a bit too old to learn it ah, should have learnt it years ago but oh wells, better late than never! :)

ml gathering yesterday went pretty smoothly, alhamdulillah. i did have fun and hopefully, the rest did too.

i was watching stefanie sun's ndp songs on youtube. and coincidentally i was wearing an ndp shirt i had a few years back. so now my sisters think i'm in my ultra patriotic mood. haha
oh me, gc and elaine came up with another plan for pe ytd! since we could play free games, we would ask the teacher to play hide and seek with us, then ask him to hide while we seek. then while he's hiding we'll go to the canteen and slack. half an hour later, we'll find him and say, "wah! teacher you hide so well we couldn't find you!" haha, okay lame la but yesterday it sounded really funny when gc said it :P
in the end, we played basketball by ourselves. fun la, just shooting continuously into the hoop.
yesterday i learnt that it is ABSOLUTELY essential for a woman to multi-task while cooking. esp for my mum who has to cook for 8 hungry stomachs. while waiting for the fish to finish being fried, prepare the chickens; cut it up and poke it with a fork cause my mum said it cooks faster that way. while frying the chickens, cut vegetables. while waiting for soup to boil, wash and cook rice. while waiting for vegetables to cook, boil water. while waiting for water to boil, clear up all the mess made during cooking. whoa, non-stop action!
i was supporting andy roddick for ytd's match agst federer but sadly, he lost. went to sleep halfway and didn't watch the whole match. must have been a great match sey, last set was 16-14! nevertheless, roddick certainly played wayy better than he did a few years ago.
i've been watching sheikh khalid yasin's lectures on youtube. he has a great sense of humour and delivers his speeches with so much conviction that i enjoy listening to him. insyaallah, i'll be a better muslim :)
badminton in the morning with shamini and safa. then off to bishan in the afternoon to buy a birthday cake for my bibik with my bro, then at night, bugis junction with siblings and faezah :) had an awesome day!
