today was such a depressing day when the teachers went through the prelim papers, since i realised that most of my answers were wrong. but luckily i managed to derive inspiration from anuar zain's song titled Kita(Us). yes, i shall not give up! and elaine gave me durian sweets, it's really nice k!

after last prelims paper, me gc and elaine went to far east plaza, ramen ten to EAATTTT! there was discount ah luckily, and we saw some pretty cool stuff there :) thanks guys for the fun outing!
the next day was spent shopping at this fashion at dhoby gaut and iluma at bugis! with cousin faezah and farhanah :) and of course, my lovely (ehem ehem) elder sis.
at coffee bean, where we just laughed cause of all the funny stuff that happened. awesome! then yay, safa's family came over to my house for hari raya at night :)
thursday: surprise birthday celebration for my aunt, wak jah! went over to my uncle's house and played with the kids. haha, this girl right, only four yrs old. i was doing my prayers and she followed suit beside me. then when i finished and was about to stand up, she looked at me and said, "eh, baca doalah!" with her hands cupped together. i asked her, "awak nak baca apa?" and she said, "entah baca je la!". hahahaha, she looked so cute at that moment!
today(okay this long post coming to an end alr) was spent swimming! but sadly, i only managed to swim for 30 laps while my elder sister managed to do 32. i think my body got really tired cause when i followed my aunt shopping at OG, i started having yellowish vision. my mum became scared cause she said i looked really pale. i'm okayla now, alhamdulillah :)
okay studying shall resume today, since the teachers have given us hmwk :(

ketupat! normally we just buy but at my grandma's place, they actually make it themselves.
sparks from firecrackers! i got really excited cause i never experience it before. the children from opposite my grandma's house was playing with it. when it's thrown it will like crackle a bit then 'boom!'. a super loud noise that really hits your eardrums! but there's like mini fireworks eveywhere so it's really cool. and it provides the atmosphere of hari raya :)
things for me to be yay-ing about: - hari raya is on sunday! i can't wait to go eat eat eat and eat! - i have only one more chem MCQ paper to go. though that's only the end of prelims. but tmr going to my grandmother's village so must chop chop finish revision for chem before i go celebrate hari raya and go get my green packets :P
i think guys should seriously try to help out around the house once in a while. for both my brothers at least! my brother was asked to bring down tablecloth from the cupboard and he brought down a curtain instead! goodness.
and MOST lazy bummer award goes to my younger sister who would rather watch her korean whatever thing instead of helping out for hari raya preparations. seriously man -_____-
oh and went with gc and elaine to toapayoh central today. saw a shoe shop which made me really happy! and the cash converter made all of us happy! hahaha. 1 dollar tin cans. this is how mine looks like :D

the holidays are ending, there's only a day left. well, i don't know if i had actually made good use of it. i did study very hard but that's the thing. studying was all i did. and what's worse, i can't remember most of what i even studied. it's like it came into my brain and just left. and then i'll get all stressed up for a moment. then decide that i shall just not care about it or hope that it won't come out. at times, i'll just tell myself that it's just the prelims. i still have my a levels anyway. sometimes i wonder, what's so important about studying? wait, i mean, i know the importance of studying. it is super important for me. but i kind of doubt the usefulness of studying TOO MUCH stuff. and sometimes i get too caught up with studies that it has hindered me from doing what's good. like i don't help my mum bake cakes for raya cause i have to finish revising. i do terawih prayers at home instead of at the mosque cause i think i need the time to study. i would rather read my notes than read the qur'an etc etc. for all these reasons, i really can't wait for my exams to be over.
saturday was an awesome day! there was a gathering at my house, with all my relatives. it's like tradition ah. every fasting month, we would meet for a day and break fast together. it's pot luck so there'll be SUPER A LOT of food!! and of course a lot of people as well :)
elder sis: we need a bigger house! hahaha
then when everyone was praying, i had to be in charge of the kids.(since i couldn't pray) and oh man, they were so hyper! even when it's nearing night time. at first, they all hid under the table (like seriously?!)
so i made them go upstairs and do drawing. just spam them with paper, markers, stickers, pencils and wah, wonders man. they were easier to control after that. but one of them still quite violent and wanted to fight aiyoh. he said he watched i robot and don't know what la then know how to fight. tsk tsk, bad media influence.
but then, aqil, my nephew was so cute! he cut out a heart shape for me!hahaha. of course la, the room was in a mess afterwards.
i was so glad i got the chance to catch up with my cousins and find out how they were doing :) all the best to my cousins taking exams too this yr! we'll all pass with flying colours, insyaallah.
i watched iron man today, cool movie. but of course i couldn't help but think that it involved some propaganda as well.
it was nice lying on my dad's lap yesterday and talking to him. but suddenly, i'm not sure of what i wanna do in e future anymore.

my father can be rather amusing at times. i was asking him whether he could buy a highlighter for me on his way back from work and he said, "okay, i buy for you black one later." this sounds rather lame but i did laugh when i saw his sms k!
had cramps today which was ABSOLUTELY KILLING ME! when i reached home, went to my room and just rolled on the floor while whining in pain. wah, seriously man, worst cramps ever! after a few minutes, felt tired and went to sleep right there and then.
econs exams tmr. it's rather sad how i have to force myself to remember all these information rather than embracing them as part of my learning process.
We have, as human beings, a storytelling problem. We're a bit too quick to come up with explanations for things we don't really have an explanation for.
