GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

wah, alex ong so nice! me and safa found macs breakfast on our tables this morning. hahaha. some of the teachers are really nice. i've gotten a LEGO keychain from one of the teachers, one big packet of cadbury chocolate with crunchie filling from another :)

slept at 8.30 last night. wah, shiok! and sleep does do wonders. had a lot of things on my mind but after sleeping all the stuff doesn't seem so important anymore. so it's like a lot of load off your shoulders.

having a sorethroat now. i think it's due to all the shouting in class :(

to all who's taking exams, all the best. insya allah, you'll pass with flying colours! and to my tutees, pls pls remember whatever i've taught you! haha

:D

Ramlee Awang Murshid is such a brilliant author! Who would ever think of such an ending?! He's a genius! I love his endings where he links all the characters together in ways you can never think of. And the twists he makes to the story. It literally left me gaping at the impossibility of it. no wonder he's given the title of best thriller novelist in Malaysia.

Here are all the books from him which I've read.
awesome trilogy! to me, way more interesting than the first three harry potter books! haha

harajuku is a place in japan. this story involved a lot of fighting. the hero in the story was a typical malay guy who was actually a ninja. best ah this one!

LOVE this story very much! about murderers and assasins. very very cool story. and i love the romance part where the guy was supposed to kill the girl but couldn't when he saw her face. He went on to protect her from another assasin who was deployed to kill her since he wouldn't.

This is the one that I'm reading now. Not as thrilling as the first few but still excellent. All his stories have their own unique plots and that's the thing I love about his works. You will never get bored of his books. And when he does insert romance into the story, it's not all mushy like all other malay love novels are.

:)

today was Administrative Professionals Day. so our lovely admin manager treated us to a Ben and Jerry's feast! whoa, i ate 7 flavours of ice cream in one day! let's see. there was strawberry cheesecake, chocolate fudge brownie, chocolate, chubby hubby, smores, phish pool and cherry garcia. i was so bloated by the end of it. but it was really superly delicious, with waffle biscuits and ice cream cone some more :) thank you so much mr derek lee!

and i seriously think my employer is a super nice man. he gives a lot of advice to me. and it's those sincere kind that tells you he really wants you to succeed in life. and i'm touched by this cause i'm kind of nobody to him. plus even though he's a Dr, he's super humble and down-to-earth. Doesn't care much about the materialistic things in life. Always looking at the bigger picture. Can be rather kanchiong when it comes to deadlines though. He wrote me an awesome referral letter and i'm still so thankful to him for that even though i did not receive any scholarships. best of all, he's so funny! i enjoy working with you Dr Tay.

attended a meeting ytd which dragged on till about 6 plus. it was between the principal and the HODs. was there to do notes and record the minutes. felt a bit awkward la cause it's all the atas people. but i got to eat all the nice food! haha, should have used my laptop though. wrote 13 sides of A4 paper and now have to retype everything :(

okay, this is like a work-loaded post. hahaha. gdnight!

and i realised that it doesn't matter what you do or where you spend your time, it's the company that makes a whole lot of difference.
so even though it was a simple ice cream indulgence at swensens, or family breakfast at macdonalds'/sitting at the esplanade bench pouring our feelings out or at coffee bean at toa payoh central, i enjoyed myself very much. and i'm so so thankful beyond words to be able to feel THAT happy. syukur alhamdulillah.

thus to my friends, my family and yes, you kak sulaiha (respectively), i thank you guys for making me feel so blessed.

a few people not in these pictures but i love them still :) okay kak sulaiha, dun start tearing now. hahaha

i watched my sassy girl (hollywood version) and i love the movie. simple yet heartwarming. and i'm sure that someday, i'll find my destiny too.

congrats to my younger sister for being president of student council! as unexpected as it was, still i'm very happy for her okay.

my mum's on MC now, may she get well soon! i can't believe that i mixed up my 2nd elder brother's birthday. i wanted to write it as 22nd august but my sister corrected me saying it's 28th august instead. need to recharge my memory soon!

dad told me that sometimes, when people fight, it's because they're very very close. mmmmmm, agreed. my elder sister's getting funnimer(combination of funnier and lamer) by the day. keep it up sis! hahaha. okay, i don't know why i'm blogging in such an in coherent manner.

breathe in, breathe out. and suck it all in.

i'm deprived of sleep now. Not very surprising actually and it's my fault since i can't discipline myself to not go online at night.

saturday was a good break for me. totally free the whole day except for tuition with my cousin. but it was at my house so yup :)

bbq at suwfiya's chalet on sunday! pretty fun even though only me and safa could come.

life's may seem terribly hard now but hang in there my friends. i'll be there supporting you guys :) i'm so sorry i haven't been able to catch up with all my friends but i'm trying and i'm so glad they're arranging meet-ups so i get to meet them at least once in a while. miss you guys.

i am tearing right after eating the uber spicy but super delicious kerepek ubi. finished up the whole packet even. asking for trouble right. haha

and my elder sister is in her name-the-body-parts mood again today. she and my younger sister begged me to be their audience as they danced and sang to a hi-5 song.

oh man, so outdated! -__-" and of course, their singing was cannot make it. dancing-wise, better not say :P

there's a tight deadline to rush for this week! thanks so much safa and wah kiat for helping me with my marking this week! :D

i really hope my summary skills aren't rusty yet. been given a new task which is to summarise a research book into a few pages. oh no.

went to accompany the primary ones for their swimming lesson today. thank goodness i engaged in 'makcik talk' with a parent volunteer. If not, I don't think I would have survived 1 and a half hours staring at the kids. although they were very cute la. i think i'm developing maternal instincts after taking care of them. helping them change clothes la, helping them wear goggles, making sure they don't run etc etc. hehe

and today i realised that dinah is so merepek makan kerepek! hahaha, funny la.

We have, as human beings, a storytelling problem. We're a bit too quick to come up with explanations for things we don't really have an explanation for.
