For those who have been anxiously waiting for my entry, here it is!

Anw, I went for the bioengineering talk the previous Saturday and I think it’s boring to the max ah. Oh man, I dunno if it was because of the accent of the tour guides or just the content of the course which was about cells and tissues and light traveling at how many nanoseconds etc etc. I’m sticking with my choice of course though and I really fear what’s in store for me the next four years. Insyaallah, I’ll survive it! Thank goodness dinah’s taking the course with me..

Been having a few driving lessons these few days. It’s pretty difficult to drive man seriously but I think I’m getting the hang of it. My instructors have been really funny. Yesterday, we were talking about how this car in front of us looks like the one in the backstreet boys music video. And then he started singing a BSB song! Like what?!?! Hahaha. Plus a few other jokes as well...

Monday and Tuesday was the Beacon Olympics. Had to relief a few classes. There was once I cheered for the class so enthusiastically I was practically jumping up and down. I think I got the students so hyped up that they became so so excited when finally, their class won a race! You should have seen their reaction man. They were hugging each other, jumping up and down, screaming and Hi-fiving their classmates and me! Words cannot describe how I felt. It was like a special kind of joy to see all these kids so happy.

The past weekend was a good one. Managed to catch up with Bao hui and Kak Sahidah! :) Plus dinner with family…

Take care everyone! :)

yesterday was a night out with the step cool and handsome people aka my siblings! haha. so sad that my younger sister couldn't come. can't help it la since she has to prepare for her council investiture speech. hopefully all AMKsians will be inspired by it.

anw! we took quite a number of pictures yesterday. went to newton circus, then toa payoh central to enjoy the biscuit at popeye's (super nice! thanks sis for the treat :)and then walked all the way home from there. before we took the lift, we had a race. haha yes, like small kids like that ah we. but i can run faster than my 27-year-old brother! my elder sister totally CMI and was left behind as we took the lift to the 6th floor without her. HAHAHAHA. she practically screamed at the rest of us after that.
do they look alike?
do we look alike?
:)

work's been pretty okay this week. wah, next week onwards will be horrible vegetable since i'm not free everyday thanks to driving lessons and tuition :( plus i got my physics notes alr (thanks shamini!) so i shall start reading them soon..

friday night was lovely because i went out with 2nd elder brother and younger sister to buy zaza's present. walked and walked until we managed to find it. my sister was super kanchiong cause she didn't believe me when i told her that the shops would not close that early -.- then we ate and chatted at coffee bean :) laughed and talked. indeed, blood is thicker than water.
saturday was a packed day. APEX, tuition then outing with the makciks! yes, stayed out at outram and orchard till like 10?
haha, then went home and wheeee, met HUDAAAAAA!!!! in the mrt. walked home with her and i felt so happy talking to her cause i haven't done that in such a long time. 12 years of friendship and still counting :)

sunday also another busy day. tuition, then meeting and then outing with zq, gc and ty. talked for very long! only left j8 at 10.30 pm?? hahahaha. so nice to meet you all again :)

but now i'm seriously tired. like wahhhh, i need some sleep. i think i've been behaving a little weird lately. mum thinks i'm stressed out because i can't find a boyfriend. when she told me, i was like "WHAT?!!?!??! NO!!!!" but she continued to console me saying that i can just study first, maybe it's a better option for me... gosh. but thanks mum.

did marking at work just now. my hand ached after marking countless maths scripts. k i'm just ranting here.

monday was a pretty good day for me i think. no work! haha. managed to take my pdl and new bank book. went down to NUS for my USP interview. don't really know how I did, but hopefully i can get in :)

i realised i haven't accomplished any of the things in my list of "things to do after a levels". haha. i was so enthusiastic before a levels ended but somehow, that enthusiasm is lost. i feel like i have somewhat turned into a machine, going through my daily schedule. with the exception of meet ups with friends, my tasks are practically mundane.

and it feels like a lot of things are happening but at the same time, nothing much is happening.

GET WELL SOON ELAINE!:D

too many things i miss, too many people i need to catch up with.

so thursday was spent mostly at work. mr koh was so nice! he offered to treat me and safa to starbucks cause we helped him decorate the butterfly haven :)) but like a bit thick skin eh. then, celebrated gc's birthday with elaine, ling ling and xinru at toa payoh pizza hut. they ordered so much stuff!!!
HAPPY NINETEENTH!

we ate A LOT of stuff. there was soup, pasta, pizza, baked rice, vanilla ice cream and not forgetting the birthday cake, which we attacked barbarically. hahaha.

I think I ate almost half the cake since everyone was feeling so full.

love you guys! :)

yesterday was njc angklung concert! really enjoyed myself listening to the wonderful music :)) and meeting all those I haven't met in such a long time.

somewhat blew my top yesterday for some period of time due to so many reasons meshed up together and coming all at once. I'm so sorry to those I might have offended.

the performers :))

my most favourite conductor in the whole entire universe :))

the people who made my nj angklung experience so memorable...

thank you for EVERYTHING. srsly :)

and this is why i will never ever regret joining NJC.

to all my tutees, continue to work hard! exams are coming, do your best. Leave the rest to Allah. I pray for you all everyday. I know you guys work hard and no matter what, I will be here fighting this war with you all :)

Okay so here’s the book I’m currently reading now. It’s really interesting because it’s not purely narrative. Instead, it includes evaluation of events that happened in the past and links them to the culture that exists in many Asian countries today. My dad gave up persuading me to read physics notes instead of this. Hahaha.

Watched IP Man 2 on Sunday. We were rushing for it. Movie was at 5, we were queing up to buy tickets at 4.55. BUT worth it cause it’s Awesome! The plot was too simple though but all the fast kungfu moves made up for it.

I’m eating too much these days! Mum, please stop buying all the pasar malam food! Talking about food, my younger sister’s birthday cake this year was a BARBIE DOLL cake. My goodness, she needs to grow up man! Hahaha. But it tasted pretty delicious. Anw, her birthday was on 2nd May. Happy Birthday Sis! I know I still owe you your present, please be patient. Heh. Can’t believe she’s already 15.

We have, as human beings, a storytelling problem. We're a bit too quick to come up with explanations for things we don't really have an explanation for.
